So Thanksgiving break has come and gone. I swear it goes by faster every year. I stayed in the residence hall for the break and it’s always weird when so many people have gone home. The students left behind always seem to bond together though and there are always people from Wichita that host other students and friends at their own Thanksgiving celebrations with their family. It makes it fun.

My name is Clare and I am a fifth-year senior at Newman University. I can’t believe that I have already been here for four whole years! The time has definitely flown by. My favorite memories range from building the biggest snowman on campus with my friends from Nepal one winter to winning the conference tournament with my soccer teammates another year. I have made some amazing friends and can’t wait to make more memories with them in my final year at Newman. Who knows what will happen this year!
